US Authorities Seize $31M in Cryptocurrency Linked to 2021 Uranium Finance Hack

PANews reported on February 25 that the Southern District of New York (SDNY) in the United States issued an announcement on the X platform that the authorities seized approximately $31 million in cryptocurrencies related to the Uranium Finance hacking incident in 2021. The operation was jointly conducted by SDNY and the San Diego Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).

Uranium Finance is a Uniswap Fork project deployed on the BNB chain. In April 2021, hackers stole $50 million due to a contract vulnerability. Hackers tried to launder money through tools such as Tornado Cash. (CoinDesk)
