PANews reported on December 17 that according to the official blog, Sui Bridge has now integrated Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP), enabling users to directly transfer USDC stablecoins between Sui and eight other blockchains.

In addition to the newly added Sui, CCTP also supports secure one-to-one USDC transfers between Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Ethereum, Noble, OP Mainnet, Polygon PoS, and Solana. When users transfer USDC across chains, they only need to pay the transaction fees on the origin chain and the target chain. CCTP destroys the original USDC and mints new native USDC on the target chain. Since the value of USDC is pegged to the US dollar, CCTP does not require currency conversion.
