PANews reported on January 27 that according to The Block, Ethereum Layer2 project Mode launched a new subnet called Synth on Bittensor. Synth will leverage Bittensor's decentralized architecture and develop AI capabilities to simulate asset price volatility. Synth involves "miners" generating simulated price paths, and subnet validators evaluate them based on historical data to ensure that they accurately reflect real-world price dynamics and fluctuations. Initially, Synth will allow miners to generate 100 simulated Bitcoin price paths every five minutes. Miners will be evaluated and rewarded based on their modeling accuracy of future price probability distributions and their ability to generalize real-world price dynamics.
