1inch: DeFi must learn lessons from recent crypto hacks

PANews reported on May 28 that 1inch Network stated in its official blog that the DeFi sector must learn lessons from recent cryptocurrency hacking incidents. After Bybit suffered a $1.4 billion hacker attack in February, the dual shortcomings of CEX and DeFi in risk management were exposed. The report recommends that CEX adopt three major upgrade plans: 1) Manual decoding of transaction data to replace interface summaries; 2) Introducing "smart co-signers" to verify transactions in real time; 3) Turning to multi-party computing technology to split private keys. For DeFi protocols, a multi-layer defense system including real-time risk intelligence, transaction monitoring and wallet screening should be built. Without compromising the principle of decentralization, suspicious addresses can be automatically intercepted through algorithms and compliance reports can be generated. 1inch emphasized that if the industry cannot establish a self-regulatory mechanism, it may trigger stricter external supervision. 1inch proposed a balanced solution of "85% free market + 15% programmatic rule layer", and suggested embedding basic security modules such as anti-money laundering through open source community standards.
