PANews reported on January 6 that the full-chain interoperability protocol MAP Protocol has released its 2025 roadmap, which includes plans to introduce cross-chain interoperability services for Bitcoin, Dogecoin, and XRP. The roadmap outlines the launch of M-stack, a cross-chain interoperability standard designed for heterogeneous chains; it also includes the release of a new cross-chain verification node called crossX, the upgrade of the mainnet, the introduction of a multi-party liquidity mechanism, and the implementation of a new incentive model.
According to the roadmap, MAP plans to launch BTC, Dogecoin, and XRP cross-chain services in the first quarter of 2025, as well as support for cross-chain interoperability for Solana and Ton. It is planned to implement the "MAP Protocol mainnet mechanism upgrade test release" in the M-Star plan in the second quarter, introduce a new cross-chain verification node crossX to participate in the mainnet cross-chain multi-party security verification, and introduce a new incentive mechanism based on transaction fees. It is planned to implement the "MAP Protocol mainnet mechanism upgrade officially launched and open source" in the M-Star plan in the third quarter, launch a multi-party participation mechanism for liquidity providers, and upgrade the liquidity provider incentive model. It is planned to launch the universal cross-chain standard specification Mstack based on heterogeneous chains in the fourth quarter.
