FTX has sent emails to creditors with less than $50,000, and there are still about $345 million in claims that have not completed KYC certification.

PANews reported on February 8 that according to Sunil, a representative of FTX creditors, FTX has sent emails to creditors with less than $50,000 to inform them of the initial allocation of funds. These creditors need to register through allocation service providers (such as Bitgo or Kraken) and authorize the service providers to receive and pay the allocated funds on their behalf. Currently, FTX has transferred the first batch of funds to these allocation service providers.

At the same time, some creditors have shown that their claims are in dispute on the FTX claims portal. It is reported that creditors with claims less than $50,000 still have about $345 million in claims that have not completed KYC certification.

According to previous news, FTX will start repaying creditors from February 18, 2025.
