PANews reported on November 1 that according to Fortune, OpenOrigins, a blockchain software company that fights deep fakes, announced that it has completed a $4.5 million financing round, led by Galaxy Interactive. The valuation information has not been disclosed. OpenOrigins was founded in 2021 and uses blockchain technology to verify the authenticity of photos, videos and other digital content to combat fake media. The relevant information will be recorded on the Hyperledger blockchain. It is reported that the new funds will be used to expand into global markets such as India and the United States.
