PANews reported on January 28 that Ondo Finance announced that it will deploy its tokenized U.S. Treasury bond fund OUSG to XRP Ledger (XRPL) in the next six months. By integrating with Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin, OUSG will achieve 24/7 instant minting and redemption functions on XRPL. The launch of OUSG will utilize XRPL's compliance tools (such as decentralized identifiers DIDs and on-chain credential management) and upcoming multi-purpose tokens (MPTs) and other features.

Ripple and Ondo have committed to provide liquidity support for the initial deployment of OUSG to promote the adoption of tokenized real-world assets (RWAs).
