U.S. stocks closed: Nasdaq fell 2.7%, Nvidia fell more than 8%

PANews reported on February 28 that the US stock market closed on Thursday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average initially closing down 0.45%, the S&P 500 down 1.59%, and the Nasdaq down 2.78%. Chip stocks were hit hard, with Nvidia (NVDA.O) closing down 8.4% and Broadcom (AVGO.O) down 7%. Tesla (TSLA.O) fell 3%, Strategy (MSTR.O) fell 8.82%, and Coinbase (COIN) fell 2.16%. The Nasdaq China Golden Dragon Index fell 0.9%, and Alibaba (BABA.N) fell 1.7%.
