PANews reported on June 11 that Starknet announced on the X platform that the STRK staking v2 version will be launched on the mainnet on June 17. This upgrade includes two core functions: 1. Block authentication mechanism: Validators need to authenticate randomly selected blocks in each cycle to prove their network participation reliability; 2. Commission adjustment mechanism: Validators can adjust the commission ratio under strict conditions to protect the rights and interests of the entrusting party. During the mainnet upgrade, the staking contract will be suspended for several hours to complete the migration, and the entrusting user does not need to operate.
