German tokenization protocol Midas launches tokenized U.S. Treasury bond mTBILL on Algorand

PANews reported on May 30 that according to Cointelegraph, German tokenization protocol Midas launched the first tokenized U.S. Treasury mTBILL on the Algorand blockchain, and completed the native USDC of $2 million on May 27. The product is anchored to the short-term U.S. Treasury ETF, with a current net yield of 4.06%, and no minimum investment threshold, which is more suitable for retail investors than the $5 million starting investment threshold of BlackRock's BUIDL fund. The Algorand Foundation said that mTBILL will be connected to its DeFi ecosystem in the coming weeks.
