PANews reported on February 25 that Tesla's (TSLA.US) market value fell below $1 trillion, now down more than 6% to $310.5, down 36% from its highest point. According to data from the European Automobile Manufacturers Association, Tesla's sales in Europe plummeted 45% to 9,945 vehicles in January. Tesla registered only 1,277 new cars in Germany in January, the lowest monthly sales since July 2021; sales in France plummeted 63%, the worst performance since August 2022.
