PANews reported on February 1 that according to official news, the IoTeX network has recovered from the instability caused by the DoS attack recently. IoTeX L1 has completed the upgrade to version 2.1.2. This update introduces single-account rate limiting to protect nodes from DoS attacks.

This upgrade is not a hard fork, but IoTeX officials still recommend that node operators and API gateways perform synchronous network upgrades to improve the stability of the overall network.
