PANews reported on April 23 that Paul Grewal, chief legal officer of Coinbase, said on the X platform: "We have made half of the progress: Alabama has just withdrawn its enforcement action against Coinbase - in just two months, the number of states filing such wrongful pledge lawsuits has been reduced by half. There are still five states that choose to waste taxpayer resources to file lawsuits, and four of them also prohibit pledges on Coinbase, depriving consumers of the right to profit on the platform of their choice."
