PANews reported on May 27 that according to the Bangkok Post, Thai Finance Minister Pichai Chunhavajira said in a keynote speech at an investment seminar that in some countries, cryptocurrencies are allowed to be used to purchase goods, while in other countries, cryptocurrencies are linked to credit cards. Credit card companies then exchange cryptocurrencies through platforms such as Bitcoin exchanges, and sellers receive local currency. However, Thailand has not yet allowed this practice. Despite this, he said that he might consider linking cryptocurrencies to certain services, but under strict conditions.
