Indiana Proposal Allows Retirement Funds to Invest in Bitcoin ETFs

PANews reported on January 30 that according to Bitcoin Magazine, Indiana Congressman Jake Teshka proposed a bill to allow public funds such as public employee retirement funds and state teacher retirement funds to invest in specific Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs). In addition, the bill requires the state administrative department to explore the application of blockchain technology in improving cost efficiency, improving user experience and data security by March 1, 2026, and submit relevant reports to the Legislative Council by October 1, 2026.
