Maple Finance Launches $500,000 USDC Incentive Program to Celebrate TVL Breaking $1 Billion

Maple Finance, a decentralized asset management platform, announced today that its total locked value (TVL) has exceeded $1 billion. To celebrate this milestone, Maple launched a one-month limited-time incentive program to award users up to $500,000 in USDC. This activity revolves around its flagship product SyrupUSDC, aiming to drive further growth of the product and attract more users to participate in Maple's decentralized financial ecosystem.

The participation method is simple, and there is no forced lock-up

The incentive campaign will run from May 1 to May 31, 2025, and any user who deposits SyrupUSDC during the event will be eligible to participate. Simply deposit at least 1,000 USDC on the Syrup Finance Lend page and fill in your email address to automatically receive a lottery ticket. For every 1,000 USDC a user deposits, they will receive a lottery ticket. The more you deposit, the more tickets you will receive, thereby increasing your chances of winning.

A total of 14 awards will be distributed, including a grand prize of $300,000 USDC. The final list of winners will be announced in the first week of November 2025. Users can view their votes and participation rankings in real time through the "SyrupUSDC Incentive Program Rankings", and all updates will be announced simultaneously through Maple's social media, emails, and partner communication channels.

It is worth noting that participating users only need to "hold" SyrupUSDC for six months without locking positions. This design not only lowers the threshold for participation, but also reflects Maple's balanced considerations in user-friendliness and liquidity management.

Encourage long-term participation and motivate capital stickiness

This incentive program is more than just a simple community giving back event. It reflects Maple's strategic thinking in promoting the development of the DeFi asset management ecosystem through product design and market incentive mechanisms. Maple CEO Sid Powell said: "Breaking through $1 billion in assets under management (AUM) marks an important milestone for Maple and highlights our rise as the first on-chain asset manager. This $500,000 USDC incentive program demonstrates the value that DeFi can provide after scaling - real returns, transparent systems, and user-centric experiences.

syrupUSDC is designed to be the foundational asset for a new class of on-chain financial services: composable, capital efficient, and suitable for everyday use. This event reflects Maple’s vision for a more participatory and accessible future where users can actively participate in the value they help create.”

By combining native returns with incentive mechanisms, Maple aims to increase users' enthusiasm for long-term holding, thereby increasing the stickiness of funds on the platform. This strategy is particularly critical for asset management protocols that hope to stand out in the current crypto market competition.

As a structured product, SyrupUSDC combines the robust structure of traditional finance with the open advantages of DeFi, and is suitable for both institutional investors and retail users. The launch of this incentive activity is precisely to expand its user base, increase the scale of USDC deposits within the protocol, and thus consolidate Maple's leading position in on-chain asset management.

Maple Finance: The leader in DeFi native asset management

Since its establishment in 2021, Maple has always focused on building an on-chain asset management ecosystem with DeFi at its core. Its team has extensive experience in both traditional finance and encryption, and has currently launched a financial product system covering multiple modules such as mortgage loans, Bitcoin income, and structured products.

Maple's platform governance is driven by its native token $SYRUP. Users can participate in platform governance by staking the token and share the benefits of the protocol growth. This incentive plan may also lay the foundation for more community incentive plans based on the $SYRUP mechanism in the future. In the future, this "holding means participation" mechanism may evolve into a quarterly or long-term community incentive plan, which will continue to promote the steady growth of SyrupUSDC and the entire Maple ecosystem.
