Crypto Market Updates This Week

Last week (June 16, 2025 – June 22, 2025), BTC ETF had a net inflow of $301 million, maintaining positive inflows for two consecutive weeks, but the scale was significantly smaller than in the previous period. In the past week, BTC fell below the $100,000 mark, reaching a low of about $98,000. The current price fluctuated around $101,498.19, and the overall market sentiment tended to be cautious. BTC's market share is currently reported at 63.2%, a slight decline, but still in the high range.

ETH ETF recorded a small net outflow of $2 million last week, ending the previous three consecutive weeks of net inflow. ETH prices have been under pressure with the market over the past week, with a significant decline of about 13% per week. The current price is around $2,243.64. The ETH/BTC exchange rate continues to be constrained by the key resistance level of 0.025, and both the capital and price performance are weaker than in the previous period. Although ETH has tried to rebound many times, it has failed to effectively regain the key position above $2,400.

US market and hot news

U.S. stock market: The three major U.S. stock indexes closed mixed on June 20. As of the close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 35.16 points from the previous trading day to close at 42,206.82 points, an increase of 0.08%; the S&P 500 fell 13.03 points to close at 5,967.84 points, a decrease of 0.22%; and the Nasdaq Composite Index fell 98.86 points to close at 19,447.41 points, a decrease of 0.51%.

Most large technology stocks fell, with Google falling nearly 4%, Meta, Intel, Amazon, and Nvidia falling more than 1%, and Microsoft falling slightly; Apple rose more than 2%, and Netflix and Tesla rose slightly. Circle rose more than 20%, setting a record closing high. Biotech company Capricor Therapeutics Inc. (CAPR) fell more than 30%. Kroger Co. (KR) rose nearly 10%, the best single-day performance in the past 15 months.

At 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Federal Reserve Chairman Powell will testify on the semi-annual monetary policy report before the House Financial Services Committee.
