PANews reported on March 6 that World Network announced that it has launched a new chat feature, World Chat, which runs as a "mini app" within the World App wallet and provides special benefits to users holding World Network digital passports. World Chat is designed similarly to iMessage, with chat bubbles of verified users displayed in blue with a World ID badge, while messages of unverified users are gray and without a badge. Even if users have not completed an iris scan, they can still use the chat feature.

In addition, World Network announced that it will launch the World Build incubator in partnership with Alchemy, Bain Crypto Capital, Blockchain Capital and Variant Fund, and plans to hold hackathons, build camps and demo days to encourage developers to build more "mini apps". World Chat will be available on the World App for Android and iOS starting today.
