PANews reported on January 4 that according to PRNewswire, the derivatives market CME Group released market statistics, and the average daily trading volume of contracts in 2024 will reach 26.5 million, of which the average daily trading volume of cryptocurrency contracts will increase by 203% to about 117,000 (US$6.8 billion), including:

1. The annual average daily trading volume of micro bitcoin futures reached 48,000 contracts;

2. The annual average daily trading volume of Micro Ethereum futures reached 41,000 contracts;

3. The annual average daily trading volume of Bitcoin futures reached 16,000 contracts;

4. The average daily trading volume of Ethereum futures reached 6,400 contracts per day.
