PANews reported on February 19 that Ki Young Ju, founder and CEO of CryptoQuant, shared the average purchase price of Bitcoin by different investors in an article on the X platform. He said that the overall average cost basis of BTC is $95,000. The average BTC in ETFs or custodial wallets is $89,000, while the cost basis of traders on the crypto exchange Binance is $59,000. The average cost of holding BTC by mining companies is $57,000. Historically, when the market price of BTC falls below $57,000, it triggers a bear market, such as in May 2022, March 2020, and November 2018. The cost basis of long-term whales is $25,000, and BTC has never fallen below this price point.
