PANews reported on January 22 that according to Businesstimes, Saudi Arabian Prince Alwaleed bin Talal's investment company Kingdom Holding (KHC) said that if Elon Musk or others acquire TikTok, the company would be interested in investing. Earlier, President Trump signed an executive order to delay the implementation of the TikTok ban for 75 days and expressed support for Musk's acquisition of the app.
KHC already owns stakes in Musk's social media platform X and artificial intelligence startup xAI. KHC also owns a significant stake in Saudi low-cost airline Flynas, which it expects will soon be approved for a listing.
