PANews reported on March 18 that according to SEC documents, Tether has increased its stake in Bitcoin mining company Bitdeer to 21.4%, holding a total of 31,891,689 Class A common shares. Previously, Tether invested $100 million in Bitdeer in May 2024 and was given an option to purchase an additional $50 million in shares.
