PANews reported on January 27 that according to Cointelegraph, Poland added 10 Bitcoin ATMs on January 27, bringing the total number to 219 active devices, surpassing El Salvador and becoming the world's fifth largest cryptocurrency ATM network, second only to the United States, Canada, Australia and Spain. Currently, there are about 38,100 cryptocurrency ATMs actively operating in 65 countries/regions around the world, supported by 356 operators.
The top ten countries with the largest Bitcoin ATM networks are as follows:
- United States – 30,780 (80.8%)
- Canada – 3,062 (8%)
- Australia – 1,389 (3.6%)
- Spain – 276 (0.7%);
- Poland – 219 (0.6%);
- El Salvador – 215 (0.6%);
- Hong Kong, China – 196 (0.5%);
- New Zealand – 191 (0.5%)
- Germany – 173 (0.5%);
- Puerto Rico – 162 units (0.4%).
