PANews reported on May 28 that blockchain security company BlockSec said on the X platform that its system detected a hacker attack on the decentralized stablecoin protocol Usual ($USUAL), which has been suspended. BlockSec pointed out that its Phalcon platform provides real-time attack detection and automated response capabilities.
Security officer tonykebot analyzed that the source of the attack was that Usual's VaultRouter contract was exploited, allowing USD0++ to be exchanged for USD0 at a 1:1 ratio, thereby making profits through arbitrage.
