PANews reported on December 15 that according to The block, rap superstar Drake's X account appears to have been hacked and promoted the rapper's Solana memecoin to his more than 39 million fans. Before traders speculated that the posts were fake (they were subsequently deleted), the memecoin's trading volume reached $5 million. The fake posts also claimed that the memecoin was launched in cooperation with Drake's preferred crypto betting platform Stake.
