PANews reported on May 22 that according to Eleanor Terrett, the U.S. Senate passed a motion to debate the GENIUS Act by 69 votes to 31, marking the official entry of the stablecoin regulation bill into the amendment discussion stage. The previous procedural vote was passed by 66 votes .
