PANews reported on May 30 that according to Blockworks, the encrypted massively multiplayer online role-playing game "MapleStory N" banned 6,503 illegal accounts within two weeks of its launch, mainly targeting the use of automated tools to open multiple accounts and brush gold. The development team said that it currently processes more than 200 automated detections per hour, while also combining manual review of player reports. The game is built on the Avalanche subnet and monitors abnormal logins, rapid character creation, and abnormal trading behaviors through an anti-cheating system.
The founder of the similar Ronin Chain game "Pixels" pointed out that the gold-making robots will destroy the economic balance of the game and dilute the rewards of real players. The "MapleStory N" team said that it will continue to optimize the detection algorithm to reduce the false blocking rate.
