The crypto political action committee Fairshake spent $5 million to intervene in the Alabama Senate primary.

PANews reported on February 11 that, according to CoinDesk, the cryptocurrency industry political action committee Fairshake has invested $5 million to support Barry Moore, the Republican primary candidate for the U.S. Senate and incumbent Representative. This marks the committee's formal involvement in the 2026 U.S. midterm elections.

Fairshake and its affiliated committees have raised $193 million in campaign funds, far exceeding the size of most industry political action committees. The committee stated that these funds will be used to run ad campaigns supporting Moore through “separate spending,” without directly contacting his campaign. The ads will highlight his image as an endorser of former President Trump, without mentioning cryptocurrency. A Fairshake representative revealed that the committee has also allocated funds to support French Hill, chairman of the House Financial Services Committee and a key advocate for cryptocurrency legislation.
