PANews reported on February 15th that, according to official data, in the seven days ending February 12th, Circle issued approximately 8.4 billion USDC and redeemed approximately 5.8 billion USDC, increasing the circulating supply by approximately 2.6 billion USDC. The total circulating supply of USDC is 73.1 billion, with reserves of approximately $73.4 billion, including approximately $42.9 billion from overnight reverse repurchase agreements; approximately $19.8 billion from Treasury bonds with maturities of less than three months; approximately $10.1 billion from systemically important institution deposits; and approximately $600 million from other bank deposits.
The circulating supply of USDC has increased by approximately 2.6 billion coins in the past 7 days.
