PANews reported on February 28th that, according to Jinshi News, following the major military action launched by the United States and Israel against Iran, Iran is now targeting Israeli and American assets, stating that there are no red lines for retaliation. While launching missile attacks on Israel, Iran also fired ballistic missiles at the following targets: Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Kuwait. Iranian television reported that Iran is also striking US military bases in the Middle East.

In addition, Iranian missiles struck the U.S. military base in Al Udeid, Qatar. The Qatari Ministry of Defense stated that its missile defense system intercepted only three missiles, with the remaining missiles hitting their targets.
