PANews reported on June 14 that, according to Cailian Press, US President Trump posted on social media on June 13 that the US and Iran are scheduled to sign an agreement on June 14, and the Strait of Hormuz will be opened immediately after the agreement is signed. According to a statement from the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the electronic signing ceremony for the relevant agreement between the US and Iran is scheduled for June 14. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bagaei stated that the memorandum of understanding between Iran and the US will not be signed on June 14, but completion in the coming days is not ruled out.
Trump stated that the US and Iran would open the Strait of Hormuz after signing an agreement on the 14th, but Iran denied that an agreement would be signed that day.
