PANews reported on March 5th that, according to the Polygon Labs blog, Polygon Labs launched the Polygon Agent CLI, providing a one-stop solution for AI agents, offering complete on-chain infrastructure including wallets, payments, cross-chain functionality, and identity. After a single command installation, developers can enable their agents to create session wallets, query multi-chain balances, send stablecoins, perform swaps and cross-chain transactions, access DeFi, and register on-chain identities and accumulate reputation using the ERC-8004 standard. The tool incorporates a Gas abstraction, and all operations are settled in stablecoins such as USDC, eliminating the need to hold native Gas tokens. Private keys are not entered into the LLM context to reduce the risk of explicit injection, and a Dry Run preview is provided for each transaction by default. The Agent CLI is compatible with mainstream agent frameworks such as Claude and Openclaw.
