CZ: The biggest problem in the US crypto market is not policy, but insufficient competition.

At the DC Blockchain Summit, Binance founder CZ noted that the U.S. government's friendliness towards the crypto industry exceeds expectations, but the market suffers from insufficient competition, resulting in high fees and overseas liquidity; he believes with adequate competition, the U.S. can become the global crypto liquidity hub.

Summary

Binance founder CZ Changpeng Zhao stated at the DC Blockchain Conference that the current US administration's friendliness towards the crypto industry has exceeded his expectations, and the US has once again become a magnet for crypto innovation.

However, CZ directly pointed out the biggest problem in the US market right now – insufficient competition, US exchange fees are much higher than international levels, consumers cannot get the best global prices in the US, and the main liquidity pools have also moved overseas.

He believes this problem is not difficult to solve. The United States has sufficient institutional funding, talent reserves, and an innovative foundation; once competition intensifies, it's only a matter of time before it becomes the world's largest cryptocurrency liquidity center.
