Soluna acquires Texas wind farm for $53 million, advancing its 300MW AI campus.

PANews reported on April 2nd that, according to Business Wire, Nasdaq-listed Soluna Holdings announced the acquisition of the 150MW Briscoe wind farm in West Texas for $53 million. The transaction was completed using a combination of cash and $12.5 million in debt. The company stated that the asset is expected to contribute approximately $20 million to $24.4 million in revenue and $6 million to $11 million in adjusted EBITDA in its first year. It will also provide its own renewable energy for Project Dorothy, located at the same site, achieving vertical integration of power, land, and computing power. Soluna plans to develop Dorothy 3 on an adjacent 300-acre site, adding approximately 300MW of computing power for high-performance computing and generative AI, while simultaneously advancing its over 4.3GW development pipeline project.
