The number of Americans filing for unemployment benefits for the week ending March 28 was 202,000.

PANews reported on April 2nd that, according to Jinshi Data, the number of initial jobless claims in the United States for the week ending March 28th was 202,000, the lowest since the week ending January 10th, 2026. The expected number was 212,000, and the previous figure was revised from 210,000 to 211,000.
