The Solana Foundation launches new security initiatives, STRIDE and SIRN, to enhance ecological security.

PANews reported on April 7 that, in order to improve the security of the Solana ecosystem, the Solana Foundation announced a series of new security initiatives, including “STRIDE” and “SIRN”, led by Asymmetric Research.

STRIDE is a comprehensive security program for Solana DeFi, encompassing protocol assessment and threat monitoring, and providing ongoing operational security support and threat monitoring services for protocols with a TVL exceeding $10 million. Protocols with a TVL exceeding $100 million will also receive formal verification support to ensure the correctness of smart contracts.

At the same time, SIRN (Solana Incident Response Network) has been launched, aiming to provide real-time response support for security incidents within the Solana ecosystem. SIRN comprises multiple security companies and research institutions, including Asymmetric Research, OtterSec, and Neodyme, and will collaborate to handle security incidents and improve the security framework.

In addition, the Solana Foundation provides a number of free security tools and services, such as Hypernative's threat detection, Range Security's real-time risk monitoring, and Neodyme's Riverguard attack simulation tool, to further help ecosystem projects prioritize security.
