A network linked to Iran's Revolutionary Guard handled over $178 million in illicit funds related to Houthi oil in a single year.

PANews reported on April 9 that, according to CoinDesk, Ian Allison cited Chainalysis data stating that as early as December 2024, networks associated with the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) processed approximately $178 million in cryptocurrency transactions within a year, while the activity of more widely associated networks approached $1 billion.
