Hassett: The US has prepared a backup plan, and the Strait is expected to open within two months.

PANews reported on April 10 that White House National Economic Council Director Hassett stated that the number of ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz is currently down 10% from normal levels, but the US has contingency plans in place and expects the strait to reopen within two months. Once open, energy prices will drop rapidly. Furthermore, he believes the Federal Reserve still has room to cut interest rates, and this outlook remains very solid.
