Iran responds to Trump: Blocking Iran will not open the Strait of Hormuz.

PANews reported on April 12 that, according to Xinhua News Agency, US President Trump retweeted an article on social media on the 12th about a "naval blockade" of Iran. The Iranian Embassy in Austria responded that same day, stating that a blockade cannot "open" the Strait of Hormuz. The embassy wrote on social media: "A simple explanation to those concerned: a blockade is a blockade. It cannot 'open' the Strait of Hormuz; it only restricts it. The only way out of this self-inflicted predicament is to remain open and flexible in negotiations. Follow reason."
