Sources say discussions are underway to extend the US-Iran ceasefire.

PANews reported on April 15th, citing CCTV News, that Russian sources, citing diplomatic sources from Arab countries, stated that the parties involved are discussing the possibility of extending the temporary ceasefire between Iran and the United States. The source stated, "The proposal to extend the ceasefire agreement, which is scheduled to end on April 22nd, is currently being discussed." The United States and Iran announced a two-week ceasefire on April 8th (Beijing time). Delegations from both sides held negotiations in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, from April 11th to 12th, but no agreement was reached.
