PANews reported on April 15th, citing Sky News, that Trump stated that it is "very likely" that an agreement could be reached with Iran before the King's visit to the US later this month. Trump said, "It's possible. Very likely. They've been hit hard. It's entirely possible." When asked about the current state of the US-UK "special relationship" by a Sky News reporter, Trump stated that the relationship "has improved." Trump said, "The US-UK relationship is like this: when we ask them for help, they're not there; when we need them, they're not there; when we don't need them, they're still not there. And they still haven't shown up." Trump also highly praised his relationship with the King, saying, "I think I quite like Starmer."
