PANews reported on April 16th that, according to The Block , Ethereum Foundation (EF) executive Josh Stark announced his departure at the end of this month, ending his five-year tenure. Stark joined EF from the Special Projects team and later entered management, working with EF President Aya Miyaguchi , Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin , and several co-executive directors. He was involved in communication and coordination for major upgrades such as The Merge , Dencun , Fusaka , and Pectra . The report points out that this change comes against the backdrop of EF restructuring its management, strengthening its focus on the Ethereum mainnet scaling roadmap, and refocusing on core cypherpunk values such as " CROPs " (censorship resistance, open source, privacy, and security). Stark stated that he has no immediate plans for his next move and will take a leave of absence to spend time with family and friends.
