The U.S. Indo-Pacific Commander stated during a Senate hearing that Bitcoin has the potential to be a "computer science tool".

PANews reported on April 21 that, according to Bitcoin Magazine, U.S. Indo-Pacific Command Commander Admiral Samuel Paparo testified before the Senate that "Bitcoin has demonstrated tremendous potential as a computer science tool," and that "Bitcoin is a real entity with value as a computer science tool for 'power projection.'"
