The rsETH incident created a shortfall of approximately 68,900 ETH, and the "DeFi United" rescue operation has received 13,500 ETH in donations.

PANews reported on April 24th that on-chain analyst Yu Jin published an article on the X platform stating that the funding gap caused by the rsETH incident is approximately 68,900 ETH (about $160 million). This is calculated by subtracting the 30,700 ETH recovered by Arbitrum from the 99,600 ETH borrowed by the hacker using rsETH as collateral. Since the ETH has already been converted to BTC by the hacker, the cleanup phase is currently underway.

The "DeFi United" rescue operation coordinated by Aave has received donations totaling approximately 13,500 ETH (about $31.45 million), including: 2,500 stETH from Lido Finance, 5,000 ETH from ether.fi, 5,000 ETH from Aave founder Stani Kulechov, and 1,000 ETH from the Golem Foundation. Donations from Ethena, LayerZero, ink, and tydro have not yet been disclosed.
