Sources say a breakthrough in US-Iran negotiations is "very likely".

PANews reported on April 24 that government sources confirmed the talks between the US and Iran in Islamabad were "highly likely to achieve a breakthrough," and a delegation led by Iranian Foreign Minister Araqchi is expected to arrive in the Pakistani capital tonight. Earlier today, the Iranian Foreign Minister and the Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister held a telephone conversation, and both confirmed the news. The Pakistani Foreign Ministry stated that the two sides exchanged views on regional developments, the ceasefire, and ongoing diplomatic efforts in the context of US-Iran engagement.
