Aftermath Finance lost over $1.14 million in the attack, and the team has promised users full compensation.

PANews reported on April 30th that GoPlus released an analysis of the Aftermath Finance attack, indicating that the Sui blockchain's perpetual contract platform, Aftermath Finance, was attacked on April 29th, resulting in losses exceeding $1.14 million. The attackers stole the ADMIN privileges of the add_integrator_config function and exploited a sign mismatch vulnerability in the calculate_taker_fees function to repeatedly withdraw tokens for profit. Aftermath Finance confirmed the total loss of $1.14 million and is focusing on recovering the funds.

In addition, Aftermath Finance stated in its latest update that, thanks to the support of Mysten Labs and the Sui Foundation, all users will receive full compensation, and emphasized that this is not a security issue with the Move contract language.
