PANews reported on May 3rd that, according to Bloomberg, sources familiar with the matter revealed that Peter Thiel's Founders Fund's fourth growth-stage investment fund, Founders Fund Growth IV, has completed a $6 billion fundraising round to invest in later-stage companies, marking the fund's largest fundraising ever. Of this, $4.5 billion came from limited partners (LPs), including sovereign wealth funds; the remaining $1.5 billion came from Founders Fund's senior management and staff, including Peter Thiel himself.
