PANews reported on May 4th that, according to Jinshi News, the U.S. Central Command denied that Iran had attacked a U.S. Navy ship with a missile, claiming it was pure Iranian propaganda. "This is fabricated. It is not true." The U.S. military is supporting the "freedom of navigation" operation and has imposed a naval blockade on Iranian ports.
