PANews reported on May 5th that, according to Cointelegraph, Aave has filed an emergency motion in a U.S. federal court to lift the restraining order on approximately $73 million worth of ETH. These funds were previously linked to the Kelp protocol vulnerability exploit and had been frozen by Arbitrum.
Aave stated that the restriction order hinders its efforts to recover funds and advance the recovery work for affected Kelp users and the rsETH-related market. Previously, the Arbitrum Security Committee had taken emergency action to freeze 30,766 ETH, worth approximately $71.2 million, in wallets associated with the Kelp exploit user.
